After looking at the lives of Yuluites, we now bring you to the lives of people who have helped Yulu become what it is today. They are our fellow mates at Yulu who help us achieve our day to day goals. Yulu has come a long way with contributions from our colleagues spread across different verticals.
As a part of bringing forth the stories of Yulu’s team, we got in touch with Ayushi, Customer Happiness Department Lead at Yulu. It was interesting to learn more about her role, her journey at Yulu till now and how excited she is to serve more people through Yulu.
How did Ayushi get introduced to Yulu?
Graduating in the year 2012 and after working with ICICI Bank, a couple of startups & Amazon over the years, Ayushi finally landed up at Yulu. Her journey with Yulu started during a trip to Bangalore where she came across Yulu on roads as ‘connect vehicles’. In Ayushi’s words, “I saw these funky bikes on the roads of Bangalore where they were being ridden by everyone irrespective of age & gender. It made me curious & shortly I came across the name ‘YULU’. I started looking up the meaning of Yulu & landed up on the Yulu page and fell for this amazing initiative of sustainable connectivity. And here I’m as a Customer Happiness Department Lead for the past 7 months.”
A Memorable Moment For Ayushi At Yulu
Sharing one inspirational anecdote during the Pandemic, Ayushi says, “While everybody was in dire need of oxygen cylinders and concentrators, Yulu came forward to help its customers with oxygen cylinders and concentrators as part of its ‘Pran Vayu Project’. Soon the initiative was expanded to not only Yulu customers, but anyone who was in need of it. Within a few hours, the entire Yulu team was fully working at the process of getting access to the cylinders and anything Yulu can do to help people. It made me really proud to be a part of a team like Yulu and help people as much as we could.”
Challenges Working With Yulu
Everyday in Ayushi’s life comes with different challenges at Yulu. Her foremost priority while working with Yulu customers is to not keep them waiting while they are on roads or are in some kind of trouble. To be quick in response and reach the customers as soon as possible is her motto.
A continuing journey
Summing up her time in Yulu till now, Ayushi says, “Yulu is like a home away from home. Everyday is a new experience here and I can’t wait to serve more people via this amazing application, enabling seamless and sustainable first and last-mile connectivity.”
